Project Data

This project is located on the outskirt of Beijing near Capital International Airport. Its site is about 10.27 hectares in three city blocks along a riverbank. The total building area is about 194,000 square meters with a plot ratio of about 1.5. The program calls for a call center, risk control center, IT center, investment center, trade admin center, showrooms, and an expert housing center. It is the HQ campus for ABG Financial Group Co.

SAAN’s design is a bold statement in cultural symbolism and corporate image. See IDEAS pages to read more about this project. A total of eleven buildings are designed for the three-city block campus and unified by internal roads, landscape features, and their spatial relationship. The site is on the flight path of the Beijing Capital International Airport. Visitors of Beijing can easily see from the air an S-shape lucky charm of Ruyi, along with four solid rocks by the water.

This signifies the good fortune and strength of the financial company. Ruyi is from legends of old Beijing folklore, whereas solid river rock is universal and transcendent. Symbology is articulated here to promote innovative building forms and unique place-making. This corporate image is proposed to blend cultural heritage, technology, and marketing strategy.
