G+SAAN’s Dallas affiliate office G and S Engineers has recently completed the final construction punch check for the South Irving Library. This is new construction for the City of Irving’s public library system. G and S Engineers was a part of the design team and provided building engineering consulting services to the project. The new library has many family-friendly spaces, including areas for children, teen books, and media collections; make it yourself maker-space with sewing, and crafting, a 3D printer, and a design/recording studio. The building has energy-efficient designs including geothermal wells and auto-tinting windows.
